This morning, a serious accident involving the collision of three vehicles occurred in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Balvanera, at the intersection of Avenida Rivadavia and Juan José Paso. As a result of the impact, two people were injured, while one of the drivers involved fled the scene. Police sources informed the Argentine News Agency that the accident involved a Chevrolet Prisma, a Chevrolet Cobalt, and a Chevrolet Corsa. The third vehicle, a Chevrolet Corsa, was 'parked at the time of the crash'. Firefighters from the City assisted the Emergency Medical Care System (SAME) in treating the victims. The woman traveling in the Chevrolet Prisma was taken to Ramos Mejía Hospital with a diagnosis of multiple trauma, while the driver of the same vehicle was examined 'with clinical control' at the scene and 'it was not necessary to transfer him to the hospital'. Finally, the emergency guard proceeded to de-energize the vehicles involved to conclude the rescue operations. Additionally, sources confirmed that this vehicle 'was the one that hit the third involved party and then fled before the arrival of the authorities, so no victims were found inside it'. The first of them, a Chevrolet Prisma, was being driven by a rideshare driver, and it was carrying 'a man and a woman, both of legal age,' according to the sources. The driver who crashed into the third car and ended up with his vehicle overturned fled the scene.
